Are Lela’s Nektar products safe for all hair types?


Yes! Our products are especially effective for textured hair including kinky, coily, curly, and natural hair. Many customers with locs, protective styles, relaxed hair, and transitioning hair also benefit from our line. If you have specific sensitivities or allergies, please review our ingredient lists before use.


Are your products kid-friendly?


Most products may be used on children under adult supervision. However;  please avoid use on infants and always patch-test when trying a new product.

Usage & Routine Questions


How often should I use the Follicle Stimulating Oil?


Apply a few drops to the scalp 2–3 times per week and massage gently. It may also be used under protective styles.


What is the difference between the Follicle Stimulating Oil and Glaze Drops?


• Follicle Stimulating Oil → best for scalp nourishment + moisture support

• Glaze Drops → lightweight finishing oil for shine, softness, and frizz control


Glaze Drops are not meant for scalp stimulation. They are designed as the final styling step for a polished finish.


How often should I deep condition?


We recommend:

• Weekly for dry or protective-style recovery

• Every 2 weeks for maintenance


Pro Tip: Use a heating cap to maximize penetration and moisture retention.


Can I use your products with protective styles, braids, or locs?


Yes! Many products in our line are ideal for protective styling, including:

• Follicle Stimulating Oil (scalp hydration + comfort)

Ingredients & Sensitivity


Do your products contain harsh sulfates or parabens?


No. Our formulas are created without harsh, drying ingredients. We use gentle cleansers and conditioners that support moisture retention and scalp health.


Are your products fragrance-free?


Our products contain light, cosmetic-grade fragrance or essential oils. If you are fragrance-sensitive, please patch-test before full application.


Do you test on animals?


No! Lela’s Nektar products are not tested on animals.

Standard delivery is typically 3–7 business days depending on your location and carrier transit times. Customers will receive tracking details once your order ships.


Do you accept returns or exchanges?


Due to the nature of personal care products, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. However; if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us and we will make it right.
